Golf Cart Pass

MANDATORY Thursday before fair Check-In & Inspection for all Golf Cart/UTVs.To keep everyone safe and organized, please review these updated guidelines.
Golf Cart Rules
New for 2026 – MANDATORY Thursday before fair Check-In & Inspection
  • All golf carts and UTVs must be inspected on Thursday before the fair, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Toney Building, and must remain on the grounds for the week of the fair. No ATV/4 Wheelers permitted on the grounds.
  • Once approved, your golf cart permit will be placed on the vehicle.
  • If you miss inspection, your cart/UTV cannot stay on the fairgrounds during fair week. It must be removed immediately.
  • Golf cart/UTV permits will not be sold or issued before the mandatory check-in.
Insurance Requirement
  • Owners must provide proof of liability insurance on the golf cart.
  • Bring the current hard copy of liability insurance (not expired) to Thursday check-in.
Where & When You Can Drive
  • Golf carts and UTVs are not allowed to be in the midway from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, except for service vehicles (sheriff, vendors, EMS, Fair Board).
  • Red lines and barricades designate the restricted areas on the midway.
  • Speed limit for golf carts and UTVs is 5 MPH in camping areas
Driver & Vehicle Rules
  • Drivers must be 16 or older and have a valid driver’s license.
  • All carts and UTVs must have working lights.
  • No ATVs or 4-wheelers are permitted.
Rule Enforcement
  • Breaking any of the above rules will result in losing the golf cart/UTV permit. Camping privileges will be terminated.
  • Further consequences are at the discretion of the PCAS Board.
The Preble County Agricultural Society, Preble County Agricultural Society Board of Directors, and the Preble County Commissioners are not responsible for injuries to persons, items, equipment, or accidents on the Preble County Fairgrounds.
